Explore its beautifully preserved columns and carvings before returning to the felucca for a relaxing evening on the river.
  • You’ll explore the High Dam, one of Egypt’s greatest modern achievements. Built to control the Nile’s flooding and generate hydroelectric power, the dam stands as a powerful symbol of national progress and engineering excellence, offering panoramic views of Lake Nasser.
  • Accommodation: Overnight on board of the Nile Felucca.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3: Day 3: Sailing into History: Kom Ombo, Edfu & the Road to Luxor
  • Begin your day with a serene breakfast aboard a traditional Nile Felucca, gently gliding along the river’s timeless waters. After breakfast, your dedicated driver and expert tour guide will pick you up to embark on an unforgettable journey through Egypt’s ancient wonders.
  • Travel to the charming city of Kom Ombo, where you’ll explore the unique Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. Discover the dual design of this rare double temple, standing as a symbol of harmony and ancient mythology.
  • Continue your adventure with a scenic drive north to Edfu. Here, you’ll visit the remarkably preserved Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s grandest and most iconic temples, dedicated to the powerful falcon-headed god Horus.
  • After visiting Edfu Temple, continue your journey 120 KM north to the magnificent city of Luxor. Upon arrival, you’ll check in to a comfortable and welcoming hostel, where you’ll spend the night and recharge for a new day of exploration in the heart of ancient Thebes – the city of kings.

Day 4: Luxor Tour: A Journey Through Egypt’s Ancient Wonders
  • Begin your day at the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious structure ever built. Walk through the grand Hypostyle Hall with its towering columns, admire the sacred lake, and explore the beautifully carved chapels and obelisks that span over 2,000 years of history.
  • Next, stop at the towering Colossi of Memnon—two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood as silent guardians for over 3,400 years. Learn about their significance and the ruins of the once-glorious mortuary temple they once fronted.
  • Venture into the Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs. Visit a selection of richly decorated tombs carved deep into the desert hills, including the famed tomb of Tutankhamun (optional entry). Marvel at the vibrant wall paintings and hieroglyphics that tell stories of the afterlife.

Conclude your tour at the striking Temple of Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most beautiful and unique temples. Carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, this mortuary temple honors Egypt’s first and most powerful female pharaoh. Its terraces, colonnades, and reliefs reflect a reign of peace and prosperity.
